The Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, sent a letter to the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze, to request the provision of a substantial budget, amounting to 1 billion 92 million FCFA.
This amount is intended for the preparation and participation of the Indomitable Lions in the qualifiers for the TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations (CAN) scheduled for Morocco in 2025.
in his correspondence, entitled “Budget for the preparation and participation of the Indomitable Lions A in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations CAN TotalEnergies Maroc 2025”, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh expresses the need to release a specific envelope to the Ministry of Sports and of.Physical Education (Minsep), in order to take charge of several crucial meetings.The overall envelope requested will make it possible to finance not only the upcoming matches against Namibia and Zimbabwe, scheduled for September 7 and 10, 2024, but also to settle the expenses remaining due for the previous matches against Cape Verde and Angola. . .thus, the amount of 1,092,545,828 FCFA will be distributed as follows:
- Cameroon-Namibia: 442,389,045 FCFA
- Zimbabwe-Cameroon: 439,643,050
- Remainders for past matches (Cameroon-Cape Verde and Angola-Cameroon): 210,513,733 FCFA
