SAMUEL ETO'O RISKS FIFA's SANCTIONS AFTER BRUTALIZING AN ALGERIAN YOUTUBER

Rainbow Word

By scoring his historic goal against Brazil in the group stage, Aboubakar Vincent brought immense happiness to Cameroonians including its president Samuel Eto'o who had jumped for joy in the stands.

Cameroon is after all eliminated despite this feat, which did not necessarily please the president whose dream of winning the competition has faded.

Still present in Qatar, the president of FÉCAFOOT was taking pictures with the fans in the street when suddenly he attacked an Algerian fan who asked him an unusual question.

The young man, being an Algerian Youtubeur, asked Samuel Eto'o about the Gambian referee Bakary Gassama, accused of sabotaging the Algerian team during the play-off in favor of the Indomitable Lions for money.

This question clearly did not please the Cameroonian, who initially upset the supporter, before giving him a violent kick, knocking him to the ground!

As a reminder, the elimination of Algeria by Cameroon in the World Cup play-offs caused a stir. .the former striker was accused of overdoing referee Bakary Gassama.

FIFA, which is the supreme body in matters of world football, does not tolerate any form of violence on the part of its members. .in or out of stadiums In accordance with its zero tolerance policy towards discrimination and violence in football, FIFA does not hesitate to impose heavy sanctions. .the former president of the Afghan Football Federation (AFF), Keramuudin Karim, had also been suspended for life in 2019 for acts of sexual violence.

The facts being proven in the Samuel Eto'o case, the latter risks a passage before the FIFA Ethics Committee and being suspended. FECAFOOT's disciplinary code also opposes all forms of violence.
